After Mac Kregor set up his artist-owned label "Hematom", Mac Tyer couldn't be far behind. For "Patrimoine du Ghetto", which marks the very first release on Tyer's Explosif Muzik label, the MC slash aspiring mogul choses to roll with the bigger names in the Biz by inviting Booba, Kerry, Nessbeal, Sefyu, Wallen, of course Tandem and several other major players for the first go-around on Explosif.
The album was released in cooperation with Joe Le Balafré's Mad Muzzik label, who produced several tracks for artists like La Clinique, Sniper, Keny Arkana and others. With the title track's release as a video Tyer and Kery James set the stage for the further employment of true to the street tales and banging productions.
The single "Patrimoine du ghetto" takes you back to an altercation between two street wise rappers taking it back and forth over a haunting beat, the bottom line being the hook:
"Dévisage pas les deux hommes officials, reste tranquille, et viens qu'on partage une chicha, avec la mort on n'triche pas, pour ceux qui ne pigent pas, on voudrais être de ceux que les pulsions ne dirigent pas, m'oblige pas."
With the only knock on this album could be the amount of guests on a Mac Tyer initiated album with him only featuring on a foursome tracks. That's nitpicking tho'and "Patrimoine du ghetto" offers great hip hop music, and should increase the anticipation for any Explosif projects in the near future.
