With the independent route being more and more inviting, the release of compilations and collaboration projects is one of the most attractive options for these artists. On "Juste Nous Vol. 1" DJ Fab revelas some of the more promising up and coming affiliated artists on one CD.
Enz, Mikehero, Dernier Pro provide positive and, as one would say, 'pure'hip hop vibes on tracks like "C'est pas le Moment", "Les entrailles de la planète musique" and "J'vois le hiphop".
Flowless, representing the female gender, really impresses on both "Etat d'esprit"("State of Mind") and "Potentiel", while "Dissidents" by Specko might remind some of Daddy Lord C's old days.
The beats are effective but only rarely stand out, altough the afore mentioned "Dissidents" is a real banger. The concept tough is great and the album provides us with a look into the near future, as several of the artists featured might go on and make some noise in a year or two.
